dergelk is a project by Vienna based artist Gerd Leschanowsky.

He crafts complex analogue collages from materials found in books, magazines, comics, and newspapers that predate the 90's.

Everything is meticulously cut out by hand and reassembled to create new worlds.

Each work is a panopticon inviting viewers to loose themselves, contemplate the correlation of individual objects, and find their own meaning in them.

These elements are assembled from various decades, creating an aesthetic synergy through their mixture of different styles and printing techniques.

The source material is unaltered without any digital enhancement whatsoever.

Everything shown is entirely analogue.

However, all works shown here will also be available as large format fine art prints.
